2022/2023 Change in Bear Trap Annual Assessments

Bear Trap's fiscal year runs from Sept 1 - August 31. Assessments are $225. The assessment was voted on by the membership at the Annual meeting for 2022-2023 to remain at $225 for the next fiscal year. This assessment is due September 1, 2022, and will be for the fiscal year beginning Sept 1, 2022, to August 31, 2023.


Per the bylaws, Article VIII Section 4. Due Date on Assessment. The amount agreed upon by the Voting Members at the Annual Meeting shall be assessed to each property on the day of the meeting. Assessments shall be due for the next fiscal year on the 1st of September. As a courtesy, arrangements may be made to make the payment on a periodic basis by contacting the Treasurer.

There will be a $50 late fees for owners who are not current on their Association dues. (This provision can be found in the bylaws, Article VIII, Section 5 (b) (1) and (2)).

Posted 1/12/2021: The Board of Directors have decided to implement the $50 late fees for owners who are not current on their Association dues. This provision was created by the previous Board, and can be found in the bylaws, Article VIII, Section 5 (b) (1) and (2), approved at the August 2017 Annual Meeting.
